GMB SERIES ROD MILL

Rod mill is a common device for making high-quality sand. It is mainly used for processing and crushing of ores and rocks such as feldspar, quartz and river pebbles. The cylinder rotates at a certain speed and grinding medium ascend to a certain height by the friction and centrifugal force, then they are thrown off and thus the material is ground by impact to produce sand. Rod mill is widely applied in aggregate industry for producing sand for building.

Product featues

1. The wet sand-making process is free of dust pollution and lower in air pollution, which is compliant with environmental protection requirements.

2. The feed material enters from two ends and end product is discharged from the middle, which makes the equipment compact and avoids over-crushing of the feed material.

3. It has high capacity and more even product size, which ensures good gradation continuity.

4. The combination of synchronous motor drive (rated power≥400kW) and air clutch ensures little impact on the grid and lower power consumption for the sand-making operation.
